DR. JOSHUA YUSUF

As a Professor of Physiological Chemistry, Dr. Yusuf has over 22 years of teaching experience at different Universities and Colleges in Europe, Canada, Belize, Bonaire, Dominica and Nigeria. Under his distinguished leadership, All Saints University experienced exponential growth from the 28 students to over 1000 medical students.

Dr. Ola Kassim

A Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, he continues to serve his community with a special focus on transformation. Dr. Kassim was the Founding Chairman of Nigerians in the Diaspora Organization (NIDO Americas). Dr. Kassim has published numerous academic papers in the fields of laboratory medicine and pathology.

Patricia Bebia Mawa

Patricia was the Host of “Lunch Date”, a daily talk show on DBN Television in Lagos, Nigeria. Listed in Who’s Who in Black Canada, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from University of Calabar and pursued Multimedia studies at Algonquin College of Science and Technology in Ottawa.

Dr. Barnabas Emenogu

Before joining the Ontario Public Service, he lectured statistics, research, computer applications, measurement & evaluation in colleges and universities in Nigeria and Canada. Earlier in his career, he was a high school mathematics teacher for a few years. He is the author or contributor of a few books and many refereed articles in reputable academic journals.

2017 LGC Legacy of Leadership Award

Isaac Olowolafe, Jr.

Isaac has led over one billion dollars in real estate transactions over the years. Dream Residences at Yorkdale is a $40 million project that has been completed. Top developers and brokerages such as Tridel, Milborne and Baker have recognized Isaac. In 2010, he established the Dream Maker Realty and Olowolafe Scholarship.

Chief Emmanuel Mbulu

Chief Mbulu is the President and CEO of Tone-A-Matic® International Inc. He is a founding Board Member of the Canada-Nigeria Business Development Council and a former Chairman of the National Investment Development Corporation (NIDC). Also the Chairman and a Founding Director of Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) Canada.

JOHNSON OLANIYI

Johnson Olaniyi joined World Financial Group as an Associate in 2005, making him the first Nigerian to become a member in Canada. Through focus, dedication, resilience and hard-work, he has grown through the leadership ladder to become the only Nigerian to become Chief Executive Officer. Olaniyi, a versatile team player, great mentor and experienced leader.

High Chief Femi Adeite

Following retirement, he has continued to volunteer his time to support various community causes. He is seen and is highly respected as the community father by Nigerians who adore and appreciate him. He has received many awards and recognitions, one of which was by Mayor Lastman and his council in North York.

DR. PETER OZEMOYAH

Currently the Vice President of Tyne Engineering where he oversees the Company’s Finances, Training and Auditing, Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, and Project Services. Tyne Engineering designs and manufactures complex engineering systems for the Nuclear and Tritium industries.

LGC 2019 Excellence in Leadership & Professionalism

Rev Dr. Busola Onayemi

He is a longstanding member of the Yoruba Community Association (YCA)  and Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2008 – 2019. He is a foundation member of the Canadian Association of Nigerian Physician and Dentists (CANPAD) and President in 2009-2011. He is the Executive Director of Bis Bus International.
